All About Thieves

Hello Oily Friend! 

I have to bend your ear for a few minutes and talk to you about one of God’s greatest gifts to earth – Thieves Essential Oil Blend.

We’ve been Oiling now for almost 5 years, and I have to tell ya, there has not been a day since that starter kit arrived on our doorstep that we haven’t used Thieves Oil, among all the other Thieves things,  in our home

Thieves Blend is a concoction of Cinnamon, Rosemary, Eucalyptus, Lemon, and Clove Essential Oils.  It smells like Christmas and is one of Young Living’s most popular oils AND has its own line of products!!! 

One bottle of Thieves Essential Oil is a versatile, and we use it in MANY ways, but here are my top 3 daily uses for that gorgeous bottle:

1. In the Diffuser – our favorite family blend consists of 3 drops Thieves, 3 drops Tangerine, and 2 drops Peppermint!

2. Everyday Roller – Every. Single. Day, 2-3 times a day, we roll the following blend on our feet and spines! 15 drops Thieves, 10 drops lavender, 8 drops Oregano/Lemon/Frankincense! (10 ml roller topped with carrier oil!) 

3. Foaming Hand Soap!! Such an easy ditch + switch recipe that your whole family can benefit from! All you need is an empty foaming hand soap container!! Fill the container with 1/4 cup of Castile Soap (we get this as Target in the makeup isle!!) add 6 drops Thieves and 3 drops Peppermint to the Castile soap and fill the soap dispenser with FILTERED water to the top. (Make sure you swirl it around really well!!)

Like I mentioned before, YL has a whole line of Thieves Products based off of the Thieves Essential Oil Blend!! And while I love them all, here are my top 5 must haves!!

Kids? You need it.

Adults? You need it.

Pulse? You DEF need it.

One of the best products that I refuse to ever run low on! Throw the small  (or large, let’s be real, I  said kids), into your bag and be prepared no matter where you are. This product comes in 2 sizes and fits all  your needs from clutch to your tote!

3. Thieves Household Concentrated Cleaner! First  – Google “greenwashing”. Understand how marketing isn’t keeping your home clean. Then look at how versatile one bottle of Thieves Household Cleaner is. YOu can get 4-6 months of use from one bottle! From kitchens, to bathrooms, to floors, this bottle has you covered. You can feel confident in your kids – human and furry ones, being on your floor after you just cleaned it with Thieves! You can’t say that about that blue, yellow or green mystery cleaner. Once you experience this product, you’ll never not have this product. It smells great and has the safety and efficacy you can trust. HELLO!

4. Thieves Laundry Detergent – It’s gentle enough to wash my kids clothes in it, and tough enough for my husbands! It’s peace of mind to finally have a clean solution for laundry day! (Even better if you snag some wool dryer balls and throw a couple drops of purification on them when you dry them!!)

5. Thieves Fruit and Veggie Soak & Spray! The spray is a superhero in a small spray bottle. You’ve been to a  grocery store. People touch their butt and then touch apples – I can’t live like that!!  I keep the spray in my diaper bag to spray ALL the things like apples, oranges, pears, plums.  We keep  the bottle of Fruit & Veggie Soak on our kitchen counter and when we get home from grocery  shopping, we soak all the produce! Bonus* The soak makes your berries last longer and your broccoli brighter! You’ll be amazed at what is lurking in that water, and with how much longer your produce is lasting.

BONUS Recipe I love – I take an almost empty bottle of Sacred Frankencense, add about 10 drops R.C. and 10 drops Thieves, then top with Carrier Oil,  put an aromaglide fitment on top and roll along bottom of feet and spine! This we love when we are traveling for the whole family.
